For this story, we created a symbol from their initials — a mark of safety, connection, and belonging. The design was inspired by the way their hands gently hold one another. It carries four endpoints, a subtle nod to the core values that define their relationship. Creating such a symbol is something meant for a lifetime; it often becomes part of their entire marriage journey — appearing on invitations, engravings, seals, and other meaningful details.
From this symbol, we began shaping their two rings. For S: feminine, natural, and elegant. The symbol appears seven times in her ring, finished with millegrain details and four diamonds. For Y: masculine, refined, with a quiet twist. The symbol appears once, hidden in plain sight — beginning at the top of the ring and ending beneath it, only understood by those who know.
It was a warm and captivating journey we walked together. With openness and trust, they invited me into their world — sharing their travels, their perspectives, and the story of their relationship. Witnessing their eyes light up as they opened the box was pure joy. And… their symbol immediately became the foundation for their next creation: a pair of bespoke cufflinks.
